Description

Just after retiring from the military, Gendo Shugo finds himself in urgent need of money due to his family circumstances. He joins the virtual game “Melo World”, which promises real world profits earned fast.

Inside Melo World, Shugo meets Himekawa Ayana, a popular streamer, and Morioka Hikaru, a wealthy player. The three form a party and begins to progress through the game.

After playing the game for a bit, they start to feel that something about the game is off. As they dig deeper to uncover the truth behind Melo World, they make a shocking discovery.

The post-apocalyptic world of Melo World isn’t just a fictional setting, it’s a reflection of Earth’s future. To make matters worse, the "god" who controls the game has been guiding humanity towards that very future.

Can they defeat the god and reclaim the future of the real world using the power they gained and the bonds they formed?
