Description
“If you can’t even control how many friends you have… then you’ve got no future!!” Hayato Makabe, a broke and friendless high schooler, finds his mundane life upended when a mysterious man in a lab coat—Myakuzuka—suddenly appears in his classroom. He distributes strange contact lenses that, once worn, reveal a number floating above each student’s head: their actual number of friends. Then comes the shocking announcement: “In 24 hours, the student with the lowest number… will die.” Thus begins the brutal “Friendship Severance Project,” a secret death game run directly by the government. Lies, betrayal, submission—and fragile bonds of friendship. This is a lesson where your social ties determine your survival. Are friendships just shackles to be cut loose, or the only hope left to cling to? As the blood spills and true natures are revealed, can Hayato survive this nightmare?
