Description
Han Woo-jin is a man obsessed—not with people, but with science. He is so deeply devoted to his experiments that the mere thrill of a scientific breakthrough brings him to a state of literal, physical climax. His friend Jayu even gave him a nickname for this ecstatic state: "Mad-Woojin."One day, Woo-jin hears a local legend about Deokmu Mountain, a place said to be inhabited by a Dokkaebi (a Korean goblin) who grants wishes and bestows treasures. As a man of logic who refuses to believe in supernatural superstitions, Woo-jin marches up the mountain to debunk the myth once and for all.Instead of a hoax, he encounters Baek-baek, the Dokkaebi God of Wealth. Faced with a being that defies all known laws of physics, Woo-jin doesn't run in fear—he enters full "Mad-Woojin" mode, determined to "prove" the deity through rigorous (and highly eccentric) experimentation.When the bewildered god offers him riches beyond imagination, Woo-jin simply scoffs: "I don't care about those gold bars!
