"Are you going to fall to your death?" "Excuse me?" "I'd prefer it if you chose to live. Because if you die, I will die too."Drunk and standing on a bridge, Jihun encounters a man named Seo Haewon. Jihun assumes their accidental one-night stand was just a drunken mistake, but Haewon reveals he has known Jihun for a very long time. More unsettlingly, on the edge of Jihun's bleak and overwhelming life, Haewon effortlessly reaches out a hand to him."What I want isn't your gratitude, Jihun-ssi." "So... are you asking me to date you?" "Dating won't suffice. I won't be satisfied with something like that. Love me. Just as much as I love you."Stunned by this passionate confession from a total stranger, Haewon simply adds, with unsettling casualness:"Shall we take our relationship stages slowly, dividing them into about five steps?" "...Stages?" "Stage 1 is sex, Stage 2 is kissing."Since they've already completed Stages 1 and 2, Jihun is left reeling. What exactly are the remaining three stages? And who, exactly, is this intense and enigmatic man, Seo Haewon?
