The Truly Terrifying Middle School Entrance Exam
Description
Monika is an ordinary elementary school student living a relaxed and happy life. Everything changes when she takes an entrance exam for a cram school with her friends and becomes the only one accepted. What initially seems like a lucky opportunity quickly turns into a demanding journey filled with endless studying, fierce competition, parental expectations, and emotional pressure. The story follows both Monika and her mother, Haruka, as they navigate the stressful and often overwhelming world of Japan's middle school entrance exam system. Rather than focusing on romance or fantasy, the manga presents a realistic look at how academic competition affects children and their families, showing both the hopes and sacrifices involved in chasing admission to elite schools.
