Description
Sheryl, a countess’s daughter, has always been mistreated by her family. One day, her father declares, “You should die instead!” — as part of a cruel plot: her pretty younger sister is to marry a cold frontier marquis, and Sheryl is sent in her place, with orders that she should be killed by monsters on the journey (to keep the substitution secret). She braces herself for despair. But in the forest she is rescued by a red-haired youth — the very marquis she was supposed to marry. From there, despite her past, a reversal Cinderella story begins: from substitute bride and mistreated sister to a life where she is cared for, loved, and starts to feel hope.
