If You’re Going to Regret It, That’s Your Problem: Be Happy with the Saint You Chose
Description
Daisy, a marquis’s daughter, has spent years preparing to become the future queen and supporting her fiancé, Prince Freddie. When Freddie falls mysteriously ill, Daisy devotes herself to caring for him and praying for his recovery. Her efforts seem hopeless until Rula, a noblewoman who awakens to the power of a saint, arrives and heals the prince. Freddie becomes captivated by Rula and declares that she is his true love, abruptly ending his engagement to Daisy. Heartbroken, Daisy must face the collapse of the future she worked so hard to build. Rather than continuing to sacrifice herself for someone who no longer values her, she begins rebuilding her life and discovering what she truly wants. The story explores the consequences of selfish choices, the meaning of genuine love, and how people must live with their actions. It also follows the growth of several characters as they confront their mistakes and seek happiness on their own terms. Unlike stories where the heroine simply gets revenge through magic or time travel, this one emphasizes personal responsibility, natural consequences, emotional growth, and moving forward after betrayal.
