The Retired Magic Knight Runs an Inn on the Frontier
Description
Lydia Veneska was once an exceptionally powerful magic knight. Known as the "White Devil," she was feared by enemies on the battlefield. Her life changes when she is seriously injured while protecting the Crown Prince. With her career as a magic knight over, Lydia leaves the capital and moves to the remote frontier. Instead of dwelling on her past, she builds a completely new life for herself. She eventually becomes the owner of Elm Tree Inn, where she spends her days cooking, managing the inn, and enjoying a peaceful frontier lifestyle. Her remaining magical abilities also come in handy in her new life. However, her quiet existence begins to change when a large black-haired man and his servant arrive at the inn. The man has a hidden identity connected to the frontier territory, and his relationship with Lydia gradually develops into a calm, mature romance. CMOA reviews also describe the heroine and hero as emotionally mature, with the male lead being a capable, handsome "dandy" who normally dislikes women but becomes comfortable around Lydia.
