The Pain of Parting With My Beloved
Description
Hyeon Seo-ha was born with the constitution of a 'Cheonhwang' (Celestial Phoenix), capable of bearing the Emperor's child. His father, Grand Preceptor Hyeon Yu-gyo, sought to feed his own greed for power by offering his son to the Emperor. However, his plan vanishes like dust when the Silver Wolf tribe revolts just one day before the imperial wedding between the reigning Emperor and Seo-ha. After destroying the Phoenix Empire and claiming the throne as the new Emperor, Eun Sang-dam humbles Seo-ha and demands total submission of his body: 'There are no precious Cheonhwangs in My empire. There is only a lowly Red Phoenix.' As emotional divides widen under continuous misunderstandings, moments of inadvertently revealed affection and tenderness turn poison, wounding both hearts and driving them further apart. 'Strip. Not a single piece of cloth shall remain on your body.' - Welcome to Kaizen Scan! - The Pain of Parting With My Beloved
