While Searching for My Familiar, I Was Exposed as the Legendary Hero
Description
Roug (37), a farmer living in a remote village, was once the "Strongest Hero" who saved the kingdom. By his side is Pepper, a familiar who has lost her memories. She is actually the "Witch of Chaos," the very being who nearly destroyed the kingdom fifteen years ago, but instead of killing her while she burned with a desire for vengeance, Roug chose to conceal her true identity and live alongside her. However, one night, the village is attacked by monsters, and Pepper is abducted by an unknown assailant. To rescue her, Roug heads to the royal capital for the first time in fifteen years. Yet, his old identification is no longer valid, and he is turned away at the checkpoint before the city gates. At the Adventurer's Guild, where he goes to re-register, he is mocked by young adventurers as nothing more than a "middle-aged guy" who has been out of the game... Determined to retrieve his familiar, the former hero sets out to make a fresh start as a rookie adventurer, all while keeping his true identity and immense power hidden.
