Description
In a small village nestled among the mountains, the people live free from disaster and blessed with abundant crops, everyone supporting one another day by day. This peaceful existence is possible only because of the yōkai known as Hyakume-sama, who dwells deep in the mountains. Hyakume-sama despises humans and never appears before them. To keep this fearsome being from leaving the mountain, the villagers have long offered tributes. Eventually, they decide to present a human girl as a sacrifice. The story follows the sacrificial girl and the human-hating Hyakume-sama as they begin to live together. Though he is feared and monstrous, a bond slowly forms between them, and the girl comes to see a side of him that no one else has ever known. As their feelings deepen, the two must confront misunderstandings and the true nature of Hyakume-sama's form. Their relationship grows into something tender and passionate, a romance that blossoms between a lonely monster and the girl offered to him. This work contains depictions of multiple eyes, tentacles, and non-human forms, and is intended for mature readers.
